Crockett Associated Companies was founded in 2002 by Bruce Crockett, President and Principal. Bruce was compelled to contribute his expertise to a select group of clientele that could turn that knowledge into new business.
Executive Biography
Bruce is a highly accomplished Senior Executive, Entrepreneur, and Consultant with over 30 years of success in manufacturing, military, defense, aerospace, venture capital (VC), private equity (PE), and consulting. Leveraging extensive experience in strategic planning, program management, and sales, he is a valuable asset for a range of companies looking for acumen in military contracting, requirements influence, business development, and growth. His broad areas of expertise include international business; leadership; entrepreneurship; executive consulting and management; program/project management; domestic/global new business development; proposal writing; sales management; relationships building; contract management; CRM; R&D; product development; regulatory/legal compliance; and high performance team building and management.
In his consulting executive and executive career, Bruce has held leadership positions at Crockett Associated Companies and United Defense LP / BAE Systems.
Currently Bruce is President of an independent consultancy providing expert new business development advisory to major military contractors - helping his clients secure $10B+ in new projects with 25%+ YOY client sales growth. As winning Proposal Manager and/or Capture Manager, Bruce has sealed many deals, including a $5B joint-services mine-resistant ambush-protected all-terrain vehicle; a $5B competitive re-buy program for a U.S. Army family of medium-tactical vehicles; a biometrics operations and support services, unrestricted IDIQ supply and services contract with prime contractor and 15 subcontractors; a $260M U.S. Army armored heavy equipment multi-year contract; and 36 large new applications netting $50M for clients including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, and Honeywell.
Previously Bruce was Director of Combat Engineer Systems Programs for the premier global developer and manufacturer of heavy off-road vehicles with $1.4B+ annual sales and 5,000+ personnel. He successfully steered turnaround of a $21M U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) improved ribbon bridge barter exchange from loss- to profit-producing program; and led $47M contract negotiations and execution to manufacture armored combat earthmovers - resulting in the U.S. Army client's highest gross margins and best-ever cash flow profile, and Bruce receiving its Acquisition Reform Award of Excellence. He also directed the development of an innovative sustainment and supply chain management system that was adopted by the Defense Logistics Agency.
Bruce obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
